Catchup

Hello all, yes I’m alive and well.

I’ve had a few inquiries recently as to why there’ve been no updates here for a little while. And let me say, firstly, thanks for the interest, and second, although there’s been no written news on this page, let me assure an awful lot has been going on – and indeed I have updated several times since September 17th, only the site (server, wordpress, who knows?) has refused to accept me and deleted anything I’ve put up….bah!

Still, hopefully all of those gremlins are in the past, and so here’s a bumper update of what I’ve been doing of late.

First, back in October the Independent Guide to eBay 2008 went on sale, taking with it a contribution from yours truly, and a beautiful little credit inside the backpage that says as much (the sort of thing the teenage me would be over the moon to know would be coming his way).

That bookazine is now on sale at Amazon and in bookshops nationwide and doing quite well for itself . Coincidentally, this is what it looks like, and if you’re interested in perhaps getting one, clicky the image :)

Aside from that, I’ve also been doing a couple of things over at Den of Geek, including why I really hate The Sims, and a review of Timeshift on PC. Decent enough it is. Expect more bits of my work to be appearing on said site in the near future as the Editors have promised to reward my writing with food (no, really). Not that I’m going hungry or anything, but it’s a situation that works!

For those of you who want to see a bit more of Den of Geek, the best up and coming Geek site on the net, the front page is found by clicking the logo (I like the image/hyperlink combo, you might have noticed).

Otherwise, my weekly scribblings can be found in a copy of Micro Mart, which is obviously ready and waiting for you to pick up at your local shops ;)

Finally, my printer died last week, just as I’d resolved myself to go ahead with flogging NiBs, and apparently it’s out of warranty.

Oh well…at least I can console myself with the trophy I won with my 5-aside team…when I get it, and my new place playing in the football club I was part of when I was sixteen (if I can shake my injuries).

All’s generally good, and it won’t be so long until next time, I promise.
