On the subject of poetry, if you happen to be in North London tomorrow, the arts collective I’m part of – Lazy Gramophone – is holding an event called Lazy Sunday.

Full details can be found at the facebook group here, and it should be a lively and entertaining event, equally mixed with Sunday cool.

Readings by William Conway (from sections of his Tastes of Ink) as well as performances by the top gent (and excellent poet and musician), Joshua Idehen, The Sea Kings and Jem Cooke will feature.

I’ll be there milling about and chatting to peeps as well. Not as part of any performance, just to have a bit of a natter. Maybe see you then. And let’s hope that – for the good of the country – whatever is to happen, happens quickly in Westminster. 

Well since last I posted I’ve moved. That’ll be why I’ve not been updating at all – as opposed to much, like normal. Yes, all’s well thanks. For a bit I was suffering from flat-pack thumb, but I successfully managed to furnish my room with a desk, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Not that you needed to know that, but I’m proud of my first efforts of furniture assembly.

Anyway…I’ve been doing some other bits as well. Mainly these can be seen on the website of the Arts Collective, Lazy Gramophone, which I’m now a part of. I have my own – at the moment, developing  - page there under the ‘artists’ section, and if you’re interested you can check out my first post on the journal on the subject of distractions. Feedback appreciated of course, and more on LG and its workings in the future.

And…that’s a quick, quick, update. Come back tomorrow, for an absolute cracker of a track selected by your truly specifically for you. In the plural of course; would that I could do more.
